With fibrosis estimated to contribute to nearly half of all deaths in the developed world, our scientific approach is rooted in understanding the role of Hedgehog signaling in fibrosis and translating these insights into potential disease-modifying therapies for patients with fatal diseases. Phase 2a findings from our lead investigational candidate, taladegib (ENV-101), support the scientific rationale for investigating Hedgehog pathway inhibition in IPF. Beyond the lung, Hedgehog inhibition has the potential to provide disease-modifying benefits across a range of fibrotic diseases with significant unmet need.
